And the peak could not be more magnificent. Climb the highest mountain in the Alps. Under the expert guidance of experienced Mont Blanc mountain guide Isabelle Santoire and her team of professionals. Your luxury base camp: an exclusive chalet in Chamonix. You will also have the chance to get to know a very special person on this tour – mountaineering legend Nirmal "Nims" Purja. A remarkable individual who has ascended more than 116,000 metres in the course of his climbing career. In 2019, the former Nepalese elite soldier succeeded in climbing all fourteen of the world’s “eight-thousanders” in a new record time of only 6 months and 6 days. This feat is all the more astonishing when you consider that most people need to spend several weeks recovering after reaching the summit of an eight-thousander. But Nirmal Purja is extraordinary in many respects. "I don’t really come to life until I'm up on an eight-thousander," says the exceptional athlete. Even if Mont Blanc is nothing more than a stroll in the park for this top-class alpinist at “only” 4,810 m, you will get more than enough opportunities to get some valuable tips to help you with your own mountaineering ambitions. The focus here will not be on breaking records, but rather on improving your skills and enjoying the fascinating world of mountaineering. And where better than on the famous "white mountain" on the border between Italy and France.
I wanted to show the world what can be done.
