Your coaches are Austria's most successful summer athletes of all time. Roman Hagara and Hans-Peter Steinacher. Two-time Olympic gold medal winners (Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004), and winners of multiple world and European championships.
These two champions - supported by young aspiring sailing professionals of the next generation - will introduce you to the secrets of foiling and how you can use it to glide, almost weightless, over the waves. This is a unique feature, which thanks to the special design of the wings, creates enormous upwards lift. The boat is raised, so has less water resistance to overcome, and can therefore achieve extraordinary speeds.
The first two days will be spent on one of the five Flying Phantoms. Before you go on board of the Super Catamaran, the GC32. 10 m long and 6 m wide, with a 16.5 m mast height, a main sail of 60 m2, and a gennaker sail of 90 m2. The result? A top speed of up to 72.6 km/h. Extreme sailing: take off and enjoy.
All this awaits you on the Adriatic Sea, at the dreamlike Marina Monfalcone near Trieste. Your stay will be perfectly refined to the typical Italian lifestyle. Top-class sport meets dolce vita. Let's go!
